AOA STATE AFFILIATES EARN $19,534 IN ROYALTIES FROM VISIONWEB ORDERS Non-Dues Revenue Awarded to American Optometric Association at 2006 Optometry’s Meeting Las Vegas, NV – June 23, 2006 – VisionWeb, the premier provider of technology services to streamline the eyecare practice, announced today that 26 AOA State Affiliates have earned royalties from VisionWeb orders for the period June 1, 2005 through May 31, 2006, totaling $19,534. The occasion marks the third year that AOA State Affiliates have received royalties from VisionWeb. Under the terms of the program, AOA members can earn royalties for their State Affiliates by using VisionWeb to place their product orders. A portion of the transaction fee associated with each order (the fee paid to VisionWeb by the supplier who receives the order) is earmarked as a royalty payment to the State Affiliate that represents the ordering OD account. “This program allows VisionWeb to support the AOA with non-dues revenue that will help the state affiliates achieve their objectives,” said Jeffrey B.
