ABB and Diversified join a growing list of VisionWeb suppliers that includes over 50 optical laboratories, frame manufacturers, and contact lens providers. Eyecare practitioners who join the VisionWeb service can order products from their suppliers online, simplifying the procurement process and speeding up order processing and turnaround times.

Industry Veteran Joins Management Team at Eyecare Industry Online Marketplace.
Austin, Texas - August 7, 2002 - VisionWeb, the Internet-based tool to help eyecare providers simplify and streamline their practices, today announced the appointment of Jeff Saddington as Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. Saddington completes the management team at VisionWeb, which includes Jacques Stoerr, who recently accepted the position of President and Chief Executive Officer; Eric Muzy, VP/Chief Technology Officer; and Jim Vitkus, VP/Chief Marketing Officer. Mr. Saddington brings over 30 years of global healthcare experience with Johnson & Johnson to VisionWeb, most recently as VP of Operations Worldwide for Vistakon, a division of Johnson and Johnson Vision Care, Inc. As a member of the Global Franchise Team for Vistakon, Mr. Saddington oversaw the production of all Vistakon soft disposable contact lenses, as well as having responsibility for the products’ distribution, facilities, optical tooling, and engineering functions.
